England in the Union
Here’s an interesting piece on the parliament website, well worth a read.
Exactly what IS England’s place in the union? Unfortunately, our country has been subsumed into the British state and an attempt has been made to split it into nine EU regions. There doesn’t seem to be much coming from the new ConDem administration except they will set up a commission to “consider” the England Question.
It is disgusting that the government are all too willing to solve any issues from the devolved governments of the Celtic Bloc, but all too slow to deal with England’s.
England is the largest country in the union, physically as well as economically, yet her political masters show no concern for the problems. They are more interested in answering the Celtic concerns rather than those who brought this government to power. The Tories stand accused of conning the people of England into believing they’d do something about the English Question, but all they now say is they’ll “consider” it.
Let’s see what they do about it.
