The SNP May Vote On English-Only Business

The SNP Deputy Leader Nicola Sturgeon has just appeared on BBC News saying the SNP may lift their self-imposed ban on voting on English-only business in the House of Commons. She says the SNP will consider the issues case by case, examine if it’s in Scotland’s interests or not, and then make a decision.

Really?

What on earth has a Bill regarding English health or education got to do with a Scottish MP? They aren’t elected to the House of Commons to represent their constituents on English business yet they have the right to interfere in our affairs.

This is why the current nonsense of voting rights has to change in the Commons. British democracy? What a joke.
